This is a scrapbook we made for Dini for Mothers Day. We made it into a book and are waiting for it to come through the mail. Shhhhh, she doesn't know we did it yet!

Ouch!

On Sunday we got together with my family for dinner. After dinner, we decided to play some outside games. We played one Casey used to play as a kid. We set a two minute timer and then played tag with some rolled up socks. Sounds funny but it was really fun and actually really tiring! Then we played ghost in the graveyard. I scared my cousins pretty bad when I was it! We had played several times without any incidents until I was running from Casey to home base. I came around the corner of the house and must have hit a hole in the yard. I twisted my ankle and fell. I heard my bones crunch as I fell. Ewwww it was gross! And it hurt really bad. I've never had a sprained ankle before. My mom told Casey to take me to instacare to at least get a brace for it. Casey thought I looked funny in the wheelchair he took me in on so he took a picture of me.

I wasn't too impressed with the care they gave at instacare but what do you do? Well the brace has really helped. I'm able to hobble around now. It'll be interesting to see how I do at work tonight! Here are some more pictures.

I don't really have an ankle anymore, I have a cankle!

25 years old!

Yep, Casey is now a quarter of a century. He turned 25 on April 10th. Since he put together a scavenger hunt for me, I made him one to find his presents. He figured my clues out without much help (some of my clues weren't that good so I needed to give him a better direction to go!!) I took a picture of his birthday spoils!

I also got him a weedeater for the yard. He's a fanatic about yardwork! I love it though because we'll have a nice well kept yard! The broom he's holding, is actually a scrub brush for cars. It came with a squeegie and a couple other things. He got to plan what he wanted to do for his bday morning then I had planned the rest of the day. So he wanted to go wash the cars. I thought it was freezing!!! But out we went in 50 or less degree weather to wash the cars. I got a picture of Casey in action.

That big old dead spot on our lawn is from the darn voles. Voles are a mix between a mole and a mouse. They ate lots of tracks around our yard but that spot got eaten the worst. Hopefully our grass pulls through! Here's a picture of Casey at his bday bash blowing out his candles.

You can't really see it, but those plates say,"Go wild on your birthday" and it has a picture of a monkey on it. Casey picked those plates out a few months ago because he loves monkeys! Well this was a longer post than I thought it would be. I wanted to put on a couple of videos of Maggie having fun with Casey's balloons. We thought it was pretty funny!

Easter Eggstravaganza!

So Casey put together an Easter Eggstravaganza for me today. He wouldn't give me any hints on what he was doing. In between conference sessions today while I was upstairs he set up his first hint of the Easter egg hunt. He hid things all over the house and a couple outside. He said he wanted to do more outside but we still have a lot of snow. It was fun to have my own Easter egg hunt! I took a picture of everything.

Here's Casey! One day we'll have children to do Easter egg hunts with but we sure had fun today.
