So fun to watch her Grow!

Well Brielle is almost 3 months old!!! She has just gotten cuter by the minute! She is starting to smile lots and do the little cooing noises. Its so fun to watch her grow! The weather here has been 90% rain since April so its been hard to stay cooped up inside. We did get out the other day with Brielle though. We went up Logan canyon. We put Brielle in a Baby Bjorn carrier and went on a good walk. She can hold her head up pretty well so we put her facing out. She loved the walk and so did we!

I finally have some more pictures to post of little B! I have a friend at work who took this pictures for me. I only have some of them but I think they turned out darling!

It was hard to get Brielle to cooperate some of the time for picture taking! And she is a very spitty baby so of course she spat up on the white fluffy thing underneath her Ooops! Alright I am a picture taking fool of Brielle but here's one I took of her while I was writing this post.

Happy Easter!

Well we had a wonderful time Easter Sunday. We were able to be with most of my family for dinner and games. My mom and I decorated the hard boiled eggs this year. We use the eggs for place settings so an egg with your name on it goes by where you sit. We put glittler glue on the eggs and made them super cute I thought! We didn't get to eat the eggs though. They weren't so hard boiled after all! The whites were still way runny! They made cute table decorations though!

After dinner we of course had our Easter egg hunt even though the youngest in my family is 16 (not counting Brielle. She of course can't go on the hunt anyways!). Then we played a game called Snorta which was fun! Brielle spent her Easter eating, sleeping, and she gave us quite a few smiles! She is such a good baby (as far as we know!). She's almost two months old I can't believe it!

This is Brielle's cute little Easter dress. She' s posing with my Grandma.

This picture wasn't taken on Easter but I put it up because she's in an Easter basket! She's still a little peanut she fit in there perfectly!

Baby Girl Brielle!

We just got back from Louisiana a few days ago with our precious little Brielle Violet Sutherland! We flew down on February 28th. Becca (the birthmom) was being induced that night. We got in early on March 1st. We were so so anxious for her to deliver. Things moved really slow and she didn't deliver until 5:26pm. We were out in the waiting room and got to go in about 30 minutes after she was born! She weighed 7.6 and was 19.5 inches long and cute as a button!! She had lots of hair and still does! We got to take her home two days later. Well, home as in the hotel we were staying at. We ran into a lot of bad luck which made us be down in Louisiana for almost 3 weeks. It was quite the adventure down there taking care of her. Overall she's a very good baby! Since we were down there so long, my mom came down the last few days we were there. It worked out that we were able to go home the same time as my mom! It's so fun to have little Brielle here in our family!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

Our Christmas was fantabulous! I did have to go into work for a little bit but other than that it was great! My parents are giving all of our family a trip to Disney World in August!! Waaahhoooo! I've been one time when I was younger and had a blast! I don't have any pics of Christmas but I do for our New Years celebration. We decided to go bowling new years eve. My big score was a whopping 96 (which is pretty good for me, I'm lucky if I get there!) and I only had 2 gutter balls!

What a stud! The high score that night was 181 but........ it wasn't Casey that got it, it was my dad.
After bowling we went and played some games. The classic signs game and catch phrase and then pool. It was a fun night to end 2010 with family.

Ok now I have to rewind to earlier in the day. When we woke up we found this outside.

A little deer family decided to spend the night on our grass. Cute huh!?! I just hope they dont kill our grass. We decided to go sledding up the canyon. Here was our setup.
Kind of ghetto I know but it is fun to get pulled behind!

Most of the rest of New Years Eve went into making a wedding cake for my brother Mason's wedding. I made my first homemade carrot cake. I grated so many carrots my hands and fingernails turned orange. Sadly one of the cakes fell in the middle but you couldn't tell that when it was all put together.
The cake had purple and white flowers on top at their wedding that made it look semi decent. Mason got married New Years day 1/1/11 at 1:00. His wedding was beautiful and his wife looked gorgeous!

Tis the Season!!

Yay it's Christmas time! I love this time of year all except for the freezing cold weather. I think I have at least 2 cups of hot cocoa a day to help warm me up! Well since I haven't posted anything recently I thought I should get on. Our Thanksgiving was great. I had to work from 5 till 2. I came home and made buttermilk rolls and a pumpkin pie (pumpkin pie takes ages longer to cook than it says in the recipe). We celebrated Thanksgiving with the Sutherland side. We ate at the Old Rock Church and then stayed the night. The Gardener family was there which made it so fun! Their kiddos are such cuties!

Yesterday we went to a concert. It was the Forgotten Carols concert. I love all of that music! I really didn't see the whole story with those carols until we saw the show. Michael McLean was one of the main characters and he was soooo funny! Coming home we took the scenic route and "oooo'd and aaaa'd" at the Christmas lights. We are going to go down sometime this month and see the lights on Temple Square.

Halloween Halloween!

Decorating for Halloween is always fun! I don't have very many things though because we're saving for adoption. So I found a cheap way to make a fun Halloween decoration. I found it on this blog.

Painting the jars was so easy and fun. It didn't take long for them to dry either. Next thing I did was draw on the face. My creative sis and law Brixannne decided to do a mummy jar. I didn't get a pic of it but it was way cute! Here's a picture of them all done and lit up!
I think they turned out cute! You can get battery operated tea lights if you don't want to have to light real ones up all the time. My other Halloween project was getting a dead branch from the canyon and painting it black. I stuck it in a pot and planned on putting purple lights on it. Then I decided to just do black spider webs on it. Here's how it turned out.
I still have to get something to cover the dirt. But I still like it!

I LOVE FALL!

I went out and about the other day to see the pretty fall colors. I love this time of year it's soooo pretty! So I decided to go on a hike up to the wind caves. I snapped lots of pics!

Here it is. It took me about an hour to make it up there! I had to take lots of breaks. The day I went it was perfect for hiking.
